Built by IPTel engineers
The questions reflect what IPTel engineers check at the network boundary, mapped to the principles and actions in ASD Essentials for enterprise IT. Each answer is scored the way ASD rates an action: fully effective, partially effective or not effective.
The report sets out the gaps in ASD's priority order, so effort goes where it reduces the most risk. IPTel is a Cisco Preferred Partner under the Cisco 360 Partner Program across Networking, Security, Cloud and AI, and Services, and operates an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified Information Security Management System.
This assessment is produced by IPTel Solutions. It is aligned to ASD Essentials for enterprise IT (published 15 October 2026) but is not produced or endorsed by the Australian Signals Directorate, and it is not an assessment under ASD's Assessment process guide.
